Homework and Discussion
For this Thursday, 31 March, we’ll finish up our discussion of the content from The Invention of Tradition, and there will be a sign-up for panel discussions as well.
I’ll talk more about plans for next week, then, but for now, I want to remind you that your homework for next week is to write 500 words about an “invented tradition” that is part of your life, and what purpose it serves for you despite its “inventedness” or “the fact that it is historically “inauthentic.”
