I just wanted to remind you: the priority for the readings I distributed in class today is as follows:

  1. the excerpt from Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangsters, and the Birth of the Comic Book by Gerard Jones
  2. the excerpt from Thomas Disch’s The Dreams Our Stuff is Made Of
  3. the excerpt from Jooshua Zeitz’s Flapper: A Madcap Story of Sex, Style, Celebrity, and the Women Who Made America Modern

Also, please remember that are expected to have watched the currently screening Disney film John Carter of Mars before our next class on 3 April 2011.
