Elementary Composition – Day

 When I was a child, I liked ‘A Rose of Versailles’. It is a cartoon with Versailles in France. This cartoon is about Marie Antoinette who is a queen of Louis XVI. I like a drawing way of this cartoon because it’s so beautiful and fatastic. I liked Marie Antoinette because her character is so beautiful. And I also liked Oscar-Francois de Jarget who is a woman in male attire. Many girls liked her because she is so sexy. Since I watched this cartoon, I have been into French history, French, and Versailles. That’s why I chose French for my major.

Last class, proffesor gord told us about Maus. And he said that he didn’t remember cartoonist’s name. 

Maus’s cartoonist is Art Spiegelman.  He was awarded the pulizer prize with Maus in 1992. As  cartoon it recieves the pulizer prize at the begining.

Maus is consists of two books, ’1.My Father Bleeds History’ and ’2.And Here My Troubles Began’. It is the story of Vladek Spiegelman ,who is a survivor of Nazi Europe, and also Art Spiegelman’s father. Art spiegelman is a jew. Title ‘Maus’ is just mouse and it symbolize a jew that is suffered by Nazis. Undoubtedly, cat appear and this cat means Nazis. And also other people are personifed. A Poles are personified as a pig, and Americans are personifed as a dog.

This story tell us ’what did Nazis do to the jew?’ that we don’t know. That we only know is ’German have to reflect on themselves and apolize for the jew.’. That’s all. So, i recommend you.

This is only idle talk. I think, Mr. Vladek Spiegelman is very smart.

I am having a very busy day today. I have a bunch of homework to do, texbooks to read, and I also need to go to a grocery store to feed myself. I thought I could have finished all my assignments during this weekend but I haven’t, even a half of them.

 Well, the new semester seem to just started but it is already heading to the middle of it. I hate busy day and I hate myself being lazy.

Do you like Green tea? I like Green tea.

To be honest with you, It’s tasty is not good.

but it is good to lose weight. and smell is a beautifle.

I love it. China is a variety of green tea. The price devided to it’s quality.

It’s very Good for your health.

I am interested in musical.

musical is total theatre. musical has music, acting,and Dance.

it is defferent from movies, and therter.

I have been learn musical at the Nam’s musical academy 2times a week.

it’s very difficult to me but very interering.

 

When I was a middle school student, my friend told me the story about “while you were sleeping.” I didn’t see it at the time but I watched the movie few days go. There is no superstar like Julia Roberts. The movie just told us ordinary family love and life which Lucy(main character) doesn’t have. Ironically the things made me touched. Sometimes people forget how important the family is in their life. Also, they pass through trivial matters but precious value in the life. If you want to be emgrossed in it,”While you were sleeping” would be good.

I teach English and math to a high school student. yeah, I’m a tutor. I have been teaching for seven months. He is the third grade in high school student. you know, it’s really important period. but he doesn’t study hard and he is bored with his study. I’m worried about hime a lot. Among part time jobs, tutoring is best part time job, i think. First, I can take a seat. when I worked at conveniece store in freshman, I stood for eight hours a day. It killed me. Second, I can get much money. Pay is good than other jobs. Third, it’s worth to teach someone. When he understand my explanation clearly and get a good grade in his exam, i feel very happy. I like my part time job!

snow is really warmer than the subzero air that kills many plants. thus,snow insulates the plants it covers from the killing cold.one observer noticed that some shruds bloomed only up to the depth of the winter snow that protected their buds.the buds higher up had been killed by the cold and did not bloom.

have you seen the movie “Ice Princess” ? i watched it a few days ago. Casey is a high

school student. She and her single mother has a goal of attending Harvard. Casey has to

prepare for science project to get a scholaship for Harvard. While she was focused on her

project about skating, she discovers her raw talent about figure skating. On Harvard

interview day, she said no Harvard. Her mom is really mad at her. But she says ” i gave

your goal. i will go after my goal ” Her mother can’t afford to skating and she had a

original goal but she challenges it.  Throughout Casey’s trials and triumphs, i think of my

dream a lot. actually i don’t have a clear dream. i just want to get a good job after

graduating university. Are you guys worried about future? just watch Ice Princess.

Are you forgetful? Yes, I’m really really forgetful. so, I have many episodes about my bad habit. The last episodes happened on Friday. I had homework which is submitted until noon on Friday. But, I forgot. When I realized I didn’t submit my homework, It was too late. So, I am trying to get rid of my bad habit by writing important things. But, It’s not easy for me. Because I also forgot where I put my note pad, even I forgot writing important things. It drives me crazy…

First, three people met.

Then we bought martini, tequila, lemon ….

We are not drinkers

We just spend our time.

Feelings are very good and we talk a lot of things about many kinds of subject.(love, family, culb, study, job..and so on)

We share our secret.

We don’t know that we has many things.

Our friendship became more powerful.

So, it was very satisfactory night.

I cannot drink. Actually, I can little but I don’t want to. The first reason is alcohol makes me turn red very fast and severely. It does not look good. I feel so embarrassed. If I should have a drink inevitably in particular situation, I need to drink a lot of water. I have thought about the reason why I turn deeply red. Some people say I don’t have any element for detoxicating alcohol or have little. Others say I ‘m not suited for alcoholic drink at all. Fortunately, I don’t like it. However, I had a glass of wine about a month ago. It was great!! I didn’t feel any headache and my face didn’t turn red almost!! I was very happy that I find out the fact. Since I found out, I bought a cheap bottle of wine. When I’m used to have no sleep, I drink a little. It makes me calm and peaceful. Thanks to wine, I find another happiness at dawn. I love it.

You guys are doing a great job! I’m very impressed. I am waiting before I post individual comments, because I don’t want to make people nervous about posting. But I will make a couple of notes for you guys and the other Elementary Writing Class Blog, just some general notes of things I’ve noticed.

First, a lot of people like to use smilies. Western smilies look like or . I know some Korean smilies are different, using Hangeul letters or carets, like this: ^^ … But since we’re practicing academic writing, it’s better to avoid these things. Also, in academic writing, we wouldn’t write kkk (or, in English, Hahaha or LOL). As I said, this is okay in comments, but I know you can find other ways of expressing that feeling in English. Usually, I write something like, “That’s so funny!” or “That’s hilarious!” Try it!

Second: everyone please rememeber, we’re working on paragraphs. You should try to bring all the sentences together in paragraph blocks, like I am doing. Don’t write single lines disconnected. Put your sentences together into paragraphs!

Third: keep blogging! You’re doing a good job and I am honestly enjoying reading your posts!

i feel so gloomy,

i’m so hard to think about the matter what it is in mind.

i don’t want to accept this feeling. but i will overcome this matter.

a few minutes ago, my girlfriend called me.

we talked about this matter each other. 

you wanna know what this matter is?

someone makes me very hard.

although i found the solution, i can’t manage it.

it is so hard to say something ㅠㅠ 

 

Last weekdays I had bought a T-shirt online but I have returned it this morning.

Because the quality.

Purchasing something on internet has two sides.

One is a positive side that is convenience.

Going to a store(off-line) is unnecessary and looking round many goods at the same time is possible.

So it can save time and labor.

Another one is a negative side. 

Sometimes goods are different with pictures of the online-shopingmall.

For example color, quality and shape.

So I should return such bad goods.

It is complex. And it takes some money.(transportation costs )

Goods on internet will have to be improved their quality more securely.

 I major in psychology. In this semester, I take a course that required real training.So I start to work at the Bucheon community mental health center as a helper. In that center, patients who have mental disorders are cared. Last week I went there for the first time. It was the time of cooking class. There are many programs like play therapy, art therapy and the society fitness training. Cooking class is also one of the programs. I observed the patients and help the teacher. It was an instructive  experience. And it was exciting. Surely the procedure of cooking was not easy. They could not behave well. I’ll go there during this semester once a week. I introduce the procedure to you sometimes ,if I experience special cases in there. I think it will interesting. 

The cold weather came back few days ago. It is a cold weather in the blooming season. Actually I really liked cold weather in winter. But I don’t like this cold weather. I don’t know why. I just don’t like. I think I’m already adapted to sunshine of spring maybe. So timing is very important.

And it is also applied to people.

If you think about someone now, you like someone. Don’t be hesitate. Everyone is adaped to new lover quickly.

Timing is important thing in love.  

ii saw the movie “The Last Samurai”.
Well… i think i over-estimated the movie in the first place..
It was good but since so many ppl have been telling me how good the movie is and also how beautiful scenes are, i was somewhat quite disappointed when i was actually watching it. But anyways.. the movie was “touchy” shall i say.. esp when the son ( i don’t remember his nam but the one who plays a role like Legolas in the LOR.. you know with a bow and arrows) told his father to move on whereas he was actually okay.. and left behind..

anyways.. i think it’s worth seeing it once..

I went to the movies for my wonderful weekend. I watched  a movie which is named ‘ A Lewd Confucianist(�?�란서�?)’. It is a Korean movie with the Choson Dynasty period. Under 18 people can’t watch this movie because it is a movie for adults. In the Choson Dynasty period, confucianists were a symbol of the intellectuals. Sometimes they can’t do something freely for keeping up their dignity. In this movie, one of confucianists starts to write a lewd story and the other confucianist starts to illustrate. There is a love story. One of queens is falling in love with the confucianist who is a writer. Now I won’t tell anymore for you who didn’t watch it. There are many lewd jokes. And the color sense in this movie is the best.  You can see beautiful Korean dress, Hanbok. There are famous two actors and one actress. In this reason, I’m sure you can enjoy this movie. 

Yesterday, I made an appointment with my friend.

We met from Kang nam.

We had dinner and watched movie.

We went to the Bennigans for dinner.

The food which we eat was very delicious.

We ate heartily and the remnants of the food was packed.

After dinner, we went to the theater.

We watched movie called Romance.

Actors of the movie is Cho jea hyun and Kim ji soo.

This movie is classic melo so, little boring.

But this movie impressed love story.

The last scene in the movie brought tears to my eyes.

Yesterday, I had a good time. ^^

I met good friend, talked about many things, ate delicious food and watched good movie.

 

Nowadays I am going to fitness club.

At first, I decided to go fitness club for my diet.

But now I’m going to there for my happiness!

Since I started exercise, Exercise is becoming more than exercise.

It is a little hard doing it but once I finish it, it makes my feel quite refreshed both in mind and body.

If I don’t go fitness club, I feel unwell.

Most important thing of exercise is solve my melancholia.

I don’t have partner to talk with me in my home because I’m living alone in bed-sitting room.

So, After school, I feel loneliness and loneliness expand melancholia.

But I have no time for loneliness by going to fitness club.

For that reason, my attraction towards that increased greatly. May be.

Anyway, Exercise has grown into a slice of my life and I’ll like exercise more than now.

If you don’t exercise, I recommend exercise strongly for your body and mind!

Today is very warm.

So I feel little sad.

But today is sunshin and fresh.

My cloth also thin and my mind also happy.

Though  the weather cold soon.

Yeogok’s weather little strange than my living place.

it’s very cold though march comes.

I expect spring.

 

Do you like watchind American dramas? Many Korean people have been interested in them lately. Especially, CSI is one of popular drama.

CSI is abbreviation for Crime Scene Investigation. They investigate crime scene and find out who ciminal is. Many viewers are fascinated their careful investigation like puzzle. So, now, There are 3 series. First CSI darama just is called CSI, but, the rest is called CSI:Miami, CSI:New York. They are divided into cities.

 But, There are also side effect. Have you ever heard of CSI effect? It’s kind of illution. If you watch CSI, You will think crime investigation is needed just 3 days. But, It’s not true.

Anyway, CSI is a successful program. Because many people are enjoying that. It’s a straight fact.

 

 Today my grandmother’s birthday.

so, I’m going to grandmother’s house.

All my family and cousin come together, we will eat dinner.

But today is weekend. SO I worried about traffic jams.

For that reason, we start early.

However the distance between our house and grandmother’s house not far.

 It is lucky for me to near a grandmother’s house.

I want to have a good time in grandmother’s house.

I love to go to the movies but I don’t like watching movies at home. I love people,atmosphere, energy in theater. Today morning, I saw a TV program MBOX which introduces kinds of movies. MBOX shows a Japanese movie Meson Do Himiko, Cheongchun Manhwa, and Pride and Prejudice. I more expect Meson than other movies. Meson is the name of a gay silvertown that Saori(main actress’s name)’s father runs in the film. The story starts with meeting of a Saori and a gay man Haruhiko, a lover of Saori’s father – he is a gay -, talking about her father’s stomach cancer. I don’t want to tell you about the story anymore. It isn’t fun, is it? ^^ I like Japanese movies because they have calm, mysterious, and  kinds of strange, unlike things compared with Korean movies. It’s very attractive!! Can you recommend other Japanese movies?

I went to the my major party! At first, there is a few student in FAMILY.

but after that, come to more student in FAMILY.

I was very delight.

I has been dreaming to talk with many professor,and friend

because I started this major a few days ago.

I was talk with many people about introduce, where to living and smalltalk…

I expected studing english with this new family that good to me.

Thank you for everything.

Anyway, this year, I hope to have like this time. I was inconvenienced by not having it last year.

Today morning, I saw the tv.

That program is ” walking around the world”

Everyweek that shows me every nations.

This time that shows me India.

India is very misterious nation.

It seems like “World of God”.

There are a lot of people and many kinds of curious things.

Anyway, i really want to go there.

My hometown is Ill San. It is located in the North of Seoul, the capital city of Korea. I’ve lived here for 10years. Ill San is more quiet and clean than Seoul. It is very close to North Korea. But I don’t think living in Ill San is dangerous.

To tell the truth, we have not many public facilities for sports or recreational activities, the same as the other big cities. But there is the Lake park which gives us enough space to get some exercise and we can also go sightseeing when the Flower festival is held. Once a year, we have a big Flower festival in the Lake park. I usually go to the festival with my friends.

We have quite dazzling nightlife. There are many nice bar, restaurants and cafes in downtown. I think the main reason is that our people are very energetic and like to drink all night.

I can say Ill San is not only a safe city but also a comfortable city.^^   

 

 

Today our department had party!

So, after class I went to party place.

I met Gord in party.

We talked many thing.

I always hope to get closer with Gord.

So today is my one of the special day!

Although I arrived at home lately enough to tired, I’m very happy today
