Your Speeches – Gord's Classes
  • Your Speeches

I think there might be some confusion about your next speech. Everyone needs to tell about an embarassing story. (Only a few people have done this speech, so it might be a while before we move to the next speech topic.)

However, for those who have already told us an embarrassing story, the next speech topic will be to tell a fairytale. Please make an effort to choose an interesting fairytale (ie. I don’t want everyone to show up telling the same three stories), but also choose one you can tell easily. The focus of that speech will not be storytelling or the story itself, as you’ll see. (But I’ll explain about that later.)

In the meantime, keep practicing your self-presentation as much as you can. We will be working on some related skills soon: projecting your voice and eye contact are the ones we will start working on immediately.
