I think most of you are preparing TOEIC. Did you get a good score? Of course, you know TOEIC was changed in May. Many people said it’s more difficult than before, so I worry. Because even before it changed, I didn’t get a high score. Maybe I have to strive to get a high score, so after finished final exam, I’m going to start to study TOEIC. I already took a class. I hope I will get a high score.

But their attitude of others isn’t fair. this is irony of America. I think America need to be more mutual, and have ability to find peaceful diplomacy.
I went to see my dentist this afternoon because of my wisdom tooth. Have you ever suffered from wisdom tooth? It makes me crazy! My dentist said, there is no problem in my wisdom tooth, but I wanted to kill the pain, so she prescribed pain killer for me. Now, I’m okay, but I wasn’t okay few hours ago,so today, I didn’t do anything because of the pain. I hope I will be okay tommorrow without taking pain killer.
Do you have any plan for summer vacation? Maybe it’s not proper time to talk about summer vacation because final exam is coming. But it’s really happy to think about vacation, isn’t it? In my case, I don’t have any special plan. Actually, I was supposed to travel to Australia and Japan, but I didn’t earn enough money, so I have to stay in Korea. But I will try to make vacation not gloomy. It will be boring, but I hope it won’t.
Last week, I read a book, Bartleby the Scrivener : A Story of Wall-Street” (1853). It was written by Herman Melville, and literally title came to me it was story about a scrivener in wall street. Narrator was a elderly lawyer, and he had four employee- two boys, same age of narrator, and Bartleby. They had vigorous personality, but Bartleby was the most unusual among them. First time, he worked passionately, however, a few days later, he would say “I would prefer not to.” when the boss gave his quotas. Besides, one day narrator recognized he had lived in his office, because he didn’t have any shelter. Later, Bartleby was moved a prison as accommodation. But in there, he refuged to eat anything, finally, he died a miserable death. No one could not tell his family, hometown, his backgrounds. This story, what could tell us ? Just a story about a crazy man’s life? Many other writers have tried write this kind of story, a man with miserable life. Whenever we live in a certain age, we met this man, we meet this man, we will meet this man. I think Herman Melville wanted to tell us it is worth thinking of this man one time, and he was also one of members of our society.
These days are almost sunner. I liked sunshine of spring, so I don’t like summer’s coming. There are some reason why I hate summer. First, summer is very hot. Sometimes it makes me tired. Second, there are many mosquitoes in summer. I hate bugs, especially mosquitoes. Last, during the rainy season, the percentage of humidity is high. This hot weather is continued until August. I hope this summer less hotter than last year.
I have a tumbler. I bought it at Starbucks. Actually, this is my 3rd tumbler. The first one was broken last winter. I used the second one just for five days. I made a resolution to never buy a tumbler again. However, when I went to the Starbucks, I saw many tumblers, and it shakes mine resolution. Last month, I bought this 3rd one, and I hope that I use this one for a long time.
We watched the movie on Thursday at 1 pm in CGV. At that time, nobody watched the movie except us. So only three people in movie theater. It was my first time to see a movie just with my friends. We felt that the theater was like our house, big home theater. We laughed so loudly, and talked about the movie during watching the movie. It was a special experience to me.
There seems to be a controversy over building a new airport in Berlin. Many aviation industries especially in Europe are looking forward to the fact that there will be a well – functioned airport. Although in Germany, some people are worried about having a new airport because there are already major airports such as Frankfurt and Munich air ports, I agree with the notion that setting a new airport in a different area.
Over the past few years, aviation industry has been losing their revenue in terms of several reasons. In the many reasons that I’d like to mention that this industry hasn’t develope its service over customers compared to automobile business. while automobile industry has been struggling to improve its products quality and service, aviation market hasn’t done remarkably important works such as reducing air ticket price or better service in the airport. Such those conditions, the aviation industry needs a refresher in order to change the mood of declining industry. There are a few good services in aviation industry such as air mileage, VIP service in airport, or pick up service. However, there are many inconvenient matters when customers are boarding a plane, or spending time in airport. Compare to how much money customers spend on their air tickets and using for the airport, provided service are not good. For example, there are many cases about delaying planes. When it happen passengers can’t help but wait. They even don’t know how long they wait for the plane. Furthermore, setting up a new airport could cut down some wasting time such as lining up for check- out because its capacity would be bigger. In this regard, building a brand new airport is necessary.
Therefore, planning to construct a new airport is required not only for Germany, but also for entire aviation business. From this plan, the whole aviation market could expect a boosting its profits, and also could approach to customers as more efficiently.
These days, i often thought ‘where is my my house in the future?’ Then, today environmental disease have been increased too fast. For example, global warming, desertification. so earth is destroyed by environmental disease. but science will be develope. until i turned 17, i never thought that take picture using the cellularphone. science developement is no limit. so we will have set up second earth on a planet. but some people speak what we will live on a planet is too unreasonable. nevertheless environmental disease have been started already.

I like hero. I don’t know that why i crazy about hero. I like hero so much so i also like hero movie .Forexample, I like spiderman, superman, and batman, fantastic 4… My friends said to me that my mouth is full of pap. But i’m not! I just like hero. Maybe i’m a hero holic young girl.
I met my best friend at luxuary buffet in a hotel yesterday. I was very pleased to see my friend after a long time. There was better place to eat lunch. I enjoyed exotic meals. I could make the best choices for myself. I also could get abundant service. The buffet had a fine view and favorably located. It was easy to find, and it was a great place to try new special things. There was perfect place for meetings, or special accasions, but the price was too high for the commons. However I liked such fascinating atmosphere. It made me happy. This reason was why I liked to go there.
When Korea held the Olympics in 1988, people set one hundred pigeons free. After that, pigeons became a problem destroyed city environment. First, their excretion spoils the beauty of the city, especially, parks. It’s too much, so people can’t clean. Second, there are many pigeons which are infected with heavy metals. It can be infectious and fatal to people. Third, they infiltrate grain markets to get feed. They cause damage to grain dealers.

The newspaper said that Korea;s junior high school students are ranked among the best in the world in mathematic, a U.S. reports showed on Friday. According to the report compiled by the U.S. Department of Education, Korea students aged 14 received an average of 589 on a 1000 point scale in mathematics in 2003, second only to Singaporean students whose score was 605. The U.S. report was based on a survey presented by the Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study which analyzed and compared acadimic performances by junior highschool students in 45 counrties including 30 members of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. I was thought that Korean students are smart, but I thought it was just my own thought. So I was really surprised by this news.
I went to the Seoul Forest last weekend. The place was the forest with a lot of trees and flowers. I was impressed to see this kind of place in the middle of Seoul. Because I always thought Seoul is too busy place with many buildings and cars, I was glad to see the nature which was beautiful. The most interesting part was that I rode a bicycle. I had so much fun. If you want to go on a picnic with your family or friends and take a rest, I highly recommend the Seoul Forest.
Final exam is going to start soon. Maybe our library is going to be crowded, and it will be noisier than before. In this situation we try to act more carefully. But some people don’t do that. They interrupt people’s concentration. First, they use their cell phone too much. Of course most people sometimes use their sell phone at library. But they don’t put it on the desk, and they don’t make any sound. Second, they deal with books too tough. For example, when they turn a page, it’s harsh to the ears. Finally, they talk to their friends. They think it’s not noisy, and they talk very low. But that’s not, so we have to try to make a good circunstance at library.
Sometimes, I saw watching the WWE like pro-wretling. It has change a lot before. but it is still popular in the U.S. When I was so young, I was crazy about wwf (before as changing name). My heros are absolutely hulk hogan, rockers.especially, when hulk hogan lifted sgt.slaghter in Wrestlemania 7. I can’t forget this. and so, my favorite game i’ever seen is 30′ batte royal in Royal rumble. That game is always getting to be more interesting for me about who will gonna be champion. i’m very exiceted. But , theseday i can’t be interested in WWE. Because Goldberg left 2years ago. That’s right. I was a fan of goldberg. I’m dissapointed that i can’t see him anymore. jackhammer, speere?? these kind of powerful skills left in my heart forever….

Have you seen this movie “Brokeback mountain”?. You’ve already heard the movie before. this movie is directed by Ang Lee from china. As you know, this story said about homo sexuallity, so especially many people in korea hardly understand this kind of story. In this reason, this movis didn’t hit in here. however, I would like to say about Original soundtrack from the movie more than story or plot. Gustavo santaolalla who composed O.S.T from a movie”the motorcycle diary” made almost songs of the album. he described mood of wyoming nature pretty well. Especially, whenever I am listening “Opening” in this album , I think of sunset between valley and mountain, and also when I listen to ”the wings” in this album, I can feel hopeless love with two guys. If you have a comfort mood in your house as you see sunset , I recommend you this album.You feel it!
These days I was sick, so I didn’t feel so good. Actually I have a backache. I am getting worse and worse. I don’t know what should I do. I went to see a doctor, and I am on medication, but I am not get better now. I don’t know why. In addition, I have a digest problom. I am concerned about my health seriously. Someone recommend an acupunture, so I will try it. I hope I will get better soon. Take care your health.

It’s important to choose the proffesion well. It is not easy to choose good job. People say ” All legitimate tradesare equally honorable”, but I want to have a respectable occupation in the future. It is a good fortune to have a good job. These days I wander what job promises good future. You know It is difficurt to find employment. Yesterday i cleaned all the house by myself. I was feel so good as if I wash my body, and I was pleased to helped my mom. Actually I didn’t do house work well, so I didn’t help my mom when she do housework. One day my mom was bored and she didn’t want to do everything because she do housework every day, so I decied to help my mother. I cleaned all the house, next I perpared dinner. My mom looked so happy, so I was happy too. My mom always devout for my family, so there is no her life. My mom is poor. All of woman in korea are also poor. But I pride of my mom and thank her for devouting for my family. Because of her devouting, I grow up well and I will great person.
You could make a different decision depending on how old you are. I cannot agree with living in a specific area all the time, such as a small town or a big city.
If you were not old enough to go to school or too old to start something new, you would prefer to live in small town like a suburb. Small town in suburb has more clearer, freshier air and surroundings than a big city. Needless to say living in that place is good for kids and seniors. To these people, nothing is more important than relaxing in peaceful town, and interactering among the nature and the neighborhoods. But, you hardly find a variety of people, experiences in a small town.
Now, if you were an adult who have to earn their own money, study in school or any other places and need more career in jobs, you would need to live in a big city. You should have more experiences and studies while they are living in the big city. When you were living in the big city, you could catch many changes about your career., and jobs, despite a lot of tasks, studies and unfresh surroundings. In addition, you seem to be competing among the others. From that, you are going to realize how valuable time is and how trifling I have now.
People attend collegues and university for many different reasons. I see that the most common reasons are to expand their thinking about themselves and things around them, to prepare for career and to experience skills about their major and to help by themselves without their family and friends.
People attend an university or collegue to expand their knowledge in subjects they find interested. This will be their last chance for a long time to learn about something that doesn’t relate to their career. From learning that, people have a wide view and all-round skills.
Also, people want to prepare for careers and to experience skills about their major through the collegues and universities. Career preparation is becoming more and more important to young people. People have more experiences related to their major, more useful working in society.
Besides, the students are having the opportunity to meet people different from those in their hometown. So, they become to be themselves without helping their family and friends. It’s the first time they had to do by oneself. Such that increases independence and makes them decide to do something by themselves. Through the campus life, people can find more useful things than they are expected and knew.
New factories do not always bring many good things to a community. We could have different conclusions; what kinds of factories for.
If we lived in a develping community, we should support buiding the factories. In the case, the factories would be helpful and useful in our community. More factories will be built, more jobs will be created. And money will be circulated well in our town. Much economic effects would be spread out the town.
On the other hands, if we lived in a developed town, we don’t need to build the factories. Of course, I see that the growth will change our city a lot. But, it’s worth being safe and keeping well in our town’s surroundings.
To prevent circumstance in ours would be likely to make some more income than to build the factory. Good sceneries and convenient facilities will attract many travelers and other citizens.
We sould think about how advanced our town, what our community really wnats and how much income we have before we support or oppose the factory. And we have to choose one of the selections. It’s up to our answer about all of things.
If I could change one thing about my hometown. I think it would be the fact that there’s a lot of noise in community. The worldcup stadium near my house has many events and makes much noise, being built apartments and structures for these days, and running cars on the road have some problems.
People living near the worldcup stadium suffered from so much noise. Different kinds of events are held. Not only soccer games, but also musical concerts and festivals are annoying people near here. For instance, in 2002, when the world cup games were held, I went to high school in senior. Most twelveth grade students have to study for C.S.A.T. But, all we can do is concentrating on our study.
Also, more higher the value of land around ours for the worldcup stadium, more apartments are built these days. Of course, living quality is upper than former years’ that. Nevertheless the constructing doesn’t seem to be over, and much noise, either. I hope the construction end soon.
Besides, people have to endure noise from cars and busses than the the other town. Overspeeding cars and busses at night must be permitted not do that again. And people with that sound proofings around the apartment will be built.
No one wants to be disturbed by noise any more. People would like to live in a quiet and peaceful place. The problems have to be solved as soon as possible.
Most people believe that television has destroyed communication among friends and family. I don’t think that way. To show is one thing, to communicate is another thing.
Television is an important role in family and friends. Nowadays, people are far too though about in their own friends and family to worry over much about what they are doing and why. And watching on television together, they could make a conversation more than former time.
Now, all they share the pregrams will be dreams or comic shows. But, the quality they talk may well be low. They sure will have fun time and talk about a lot. Nothing is more or less. That’s all.
Television is not always detroying communication among friends and family. It has been an important part in communication. But, there remains only useless words or laughs which selections are you choosing, the chatting a lot each other or communicating of deepness with real meanings. It’s up to you.
My friend came to school crying. When I asked her why she was crying, she wouldn’t tell the reason. So I took her am empty classroom and helped her to be relaxed. Then she said that she had lost her wallet on her way school. She guessed somebody stole her wallet in the subway. She said there weren’t much money in her pursue but there were a couple of pictures,some receipts, a credit card and ID card. I was sorry about her and I said, “I think you can’t find it you lost. It’s useless to feel regret about a loss. So forget about it.” It was the worst day she’s had.
