Elementary Composition – Day

I’ve found the notice about American homestay on the bulletin board in school. As soon as I saw it, I summited the application and put it up for the program. There was a brief orientation earlier today. An American girl named Kimberly is going to homestay at my home on weekends. I saw her picture and she looks very cute. She is a junior majoring business and management. I have made some plans as to where we go, what we can eat, see and do. I’m so excited and looking forward to it.

 Volfgang Amadeus Mozart represents a genius people. because ha composed a beatiful classic music nevertheless he was a child.

 forexample, he first plyed instrument was four years old. and he composed classic music note at five years old. but maybe he composed music note only faster than another people. he never called a genius. for example like so many young boys who was good at arithmetic. not mathmetics only fast arismetic. but fortunately mozart was different to this people. but unfortunately he died too early 36 years old. mysterious thing is that most genius people are dying so early for example james marshall hendrix-guitarist- and yi sang-korean poet-.  

Hi, everyone. Today is closing day to write journals. I hope all of us earned various skills about writing through this cuorse, and can make great final essay. I think this course’s curriculum and learning atmosphere were good. I am grateful catched the chance to participate this course and studied efficient writing ways. Thank Gord Sellar and you wholeheartedly. I expect to meet you again in intermediate writing course in next semaster. Good night!!

This is the last I write my paragraph for English Elementary Composition Blog. As you know, the final exam is coming soon, and it makes me feel a little bit nervous. However I am also happy because I am finishing this semester safely. It goes without saying that it was difficult to understand and take the class. Then I can’t really think that I finish my study during this semester because I am in a bad state of health. However I have very good friends and teachers, and they always help me whenever I had hard work. And then this Blog also gives a lot of help to me because I could have chances to write something and give some comments to my friends, and its training makes me improve my writing skills. Of course, I’ve gotten many comments, and I also got many chances to correct what I made mistakes. That’s why I could do it safely. So I am filled with emotion now. I really appreciate very much to you, I hope I will take next semester together. Thank you!

 I watched the program ” End day” in Discovery channel. This story was incredible .what if the world is ended, how can we do that? the answer is nothing. as scary as nothing compared to this story.  they said 4 parts of senarios what will it happened some day. At first, all over the city is supposed to cover with huge flood as tsunami. Second, Meteor collapsed the earth. Third, viruses spread it out as if we’ve seen before the movie from “Out break”. Finally, they are supposed to say about “Black hole” . I can’t imgine what will it be is true or not. but I just would like to say that we do your best in present. 

I went to see my best friend off at Inchon International Airport yesterday. She left to America with her husband because her two sons live in Los Angeles. So she had a plan to open a studio with her family there. I think they will not to return to Korea. I really missed to part with her. Whenever I had difficult problems, she always tried to soothe me. She and I were fond of each other. I felt empty, and I was very sad to see her off to the distance. I wonder when I will meet her again. I really felt so lonely when I came back to my home alone.

 A few day ago, Our University’s Soccer Tornament was finish, Nature Science Department was champion, Our department (languages & Culture) was 2nd.. As i was captain, I was so satisfied and happy. Because Our member did best playing. Before the this Tornament, Many people thought that our department is weak team. But We againsted strong team. After i will be discharged from military service, I will be champion.

Do you know Vivien Leigh? She was the hero of Gone With the Wind. It is my most favorate movie, so I have seen this movie about five times. The movie was written by Margaret Mitchell( It had published a book at first), and the background is the Civil War of America. The movie is proud of scale and realistic description about the history and complete story construction. It has various attractions besides them, but most important reason that I love this movie is the hero, Vivien Leigh. She acted Scarlett O’Hara who was fascinated, polished, and foxy. Scarlett O’Hara had contrary character. For example, she was cold to ther people, but frail to Aslee.(She loved her for a long time, but he was another woman’s wife.) She also had borned arrogance as high class origine, but show strong vitality for not be hungry. An actress who most fits to this complex chacacter was only Vivien Leigh, I’m sure. Her face, body, image, and acting ability was the best to take the role of Scalett. I have never seen more attractive foreign actress than her. Please, watch the movie, and meet her, if you haven’t seen her act.

Last Thursday was an anniversary of the founding of a school. So, I went to amusement park “Lotte World” with my friends. I can ride all adventure rides well! Until I was high school student, I was afraid of riding a Viking. But, the fear was gone during last year. My friends told me, “You’re great!”  As riding adventure rides, it’s far less frightful if you relax your body. Anyway, we had a great time! It was very delightful.

These days many people are suffer from atopy. Atopy is a serious problem and different from other common disease. It is new kind of disease that was not exists the past, that means the cause of atopy is environmental pollution. Atopy has several terrible traits.  First, there is no concrete way of prevention. For example, some babies are born already have atopy. Scientist say it is connected with gene, but baby can have atopy even though the mother is not has atopy. Second, complete recovery is not easy, but it relapsed easily. By applying ointment to their skin, atopic dermatitis can become better than before, but there is no way get rid of it completely. They have to apply the ointment continuously. Lastly, many atopy patients easily lost their confident because of their skin. For instance, my friend who has atopic dermatitis never wearing a short closes because she did not wants to be seen her legs skin and arms skin. As you know, the skin is red, rough, and dry. They usual feel tickling, but they should not scratch it. Atopy will become a bigger problem than now. That is why the percentage of people who are suffering from atopy is constantly increased. I wish scientist can find an effective cure for atopy as soon as possibly. 

My younger brother wants to raise an animal at home, but our family members did not want any animals. So, I start to explain to him why we do not like animals. “Sometimes animals are dangerous because they can attack people. For example, animals such as lions, tigers, snakes, and bears are dangerous if they escape. Moreover, animals like foxes lions, tigers, bears, and snakes may attack people!�? my brother said, “I know, but I just want a small pet which is not dangerous!�? I thought about how I can persuade him. I said “You are right, but animals are still dangerous although it is small because of viruses. Viruses like HIV and SARS spread easily. Animals can become a route of infection.�? He did not agree with me because he was not stupid. I knew my reasons are not made sense. Eventually, I allow him to raise a pet and he promise to take care his pet well including giving the pet bath and cleaning the pet’s excrements. He was really thanks to me. He said “When I become I earn money, I will give you an expensive present like a diamond�? As you know, people usually wear diamonds as shiny jewelry. I recommend a cat as his pet because dogs, cats, and cows bread quickly.

 Around the university, it is so many hair salon. because university student is interest to hair. therfore maybe if you take care of the price, you choice a reasonable price. in fact since i have been a university student. i always went the only one hair salon. this hair salon name is choi-ga-uel. when i doesn’t know this hair salon. i thought choi-ga-uel was good at hair cut but too expensive for the students. however, as soon as after 2month later i knew the choi-ga-uel beaty salon discount about 30% for the catholic university students. i should have gone the choi-ga-uel sooner.

 Alzheimer’s disease is a condition in which a person’s brain gradually stops working properly.

 When i was young. my father bought a videotape. it was a movie ‘ben-hur’. main actor’s name was chalton heston. and his performance was so attractive, strong, shocking and charismatic. expecially during the scean of on the sea war, i had goose bumps all over. but now chalton heston can’t talking forward other people and he can’t eat foods alone. because he was taken with a disease ‘Alzheimer’

 I knew some people who be taken with a ‘alzheimer’. for example Ronald wilson reagan-previous america’s president-in fact, now a days doctors and scientists have not been known the reason why alzheimers disease.

It is very sunny today. The sun is very bright, and everything looks so lively. I love this kind of weather, because on a day like this, I feel very happy and cheerful. Otherwise, on a rainny or cloudy day I feel very sad and gloomy. Weather controls my attitude towards my life. I know it sounds funny, but it really does. I get very positive and hopeful toward myself and my life when it is sunny, and vice versa. I just can’t help being so controled by the weather. Anyway, I feel so happy today.

Almost one month ago, my friends and I made a plan to go to amusement park which called Ever Land in Yongin at an anniversary of the founding of a school, because that day has no classes. The anniversary of the founding of a school was last May 25^th. At that day, we met at 8o’clock and we arrived at Ever Land at 10. However, we could enter the park at 11, because one of my friend late almost one hour. She said she lost her way, so she was late. When I enter the park, I was so surprised because at the park, there were so many people even it was week day. I guess the reason why there were so many people was these days are the season of school excursion and Kindergarten’s picnic. I have to wait more than 30 minutes to ride rides. After ride rides, we went to garden which has a lot of roses and fountains. There were really beautiful so I couldn’t stop taking photos. We took a lot of pictures. At there, one of my friends Selin was wet because before I push her into the fountain, there was no water, but just after I push her the water suddenly come up. She was almost wet and she almost cry, I was really sorry so I squeeze her pants as hard as I could do to make it quick dry. At Ever Land we also went to safari so we could see the lions, tigers, and bears really closely. It was really interesting. At the park, I had really good time even I was a little bit tired. If someone gives me to go to the Ever Land, I really want to visit there again.

Coto Te Ugly was produced by Terry Bruckheimer in 2000. The genre is romantic comedy. It includes new stars, Piper Perabo and maria Bello. When young violet Sanford finaaly follows her dream and moves to New York to become a songwriter. She knows little about the big city. All her efforts to get a demo tape to a producer are useless. But coincidence leads her to Coyo Te Ugly, a night club where only beautiful women call the shots. Violet manages to get a position and starts leaving the ways of the city. After getting in trouble because of a misunderstanding, Violte’s new friend kevin tries to rid her of her stage fear so that she can perform her songs herself. In the end, she overcomes stage fear. Actually  theis story is simple and easy to understand, but I’d like to recommend Coyo Te Ugly more than others. It looks impssible: a young girl becomes a songwriter in a big city with fear. Everyone has obstacles that retard their dream. So everyone wants to change and overcome. In my opinion, the reason wht this movie is so popular is that this movie is dealing with dreams.

  I would like to say about the reason why I hate mouse. Most people I know absoluetly don’t like this, espeacially my girlfriend,too. Of course, they look like creepy at all. but except this reason, we can also say  more about the reason. First, because of the mouse, a lot of cats exist all over the country. If mice would exterminated everywhere, cats will decrease gradually. Second, They always carry a lot of viruses away every spot. as you know ‘ epidemic hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome ‘, this is why these viruses spread out. Many people cause to die by this. Third, Sometimes, they make some noise a lot. so we often have sleepless at night. when I travelled to the U,S, the hostel where I stayed at was running around my bed. so I couldn’t sleep so long. Therefore, I think mouse is not necessary existence anymore.

Mosquitoes are hideous insects. I dislike them because of several reasons. First,  mosquitoes annoy me in the summer especially at night. Sometimes they buzz about  my ears ,and it makes me really irritated. I cannot get to sleep for mosquitoes. Second, they look ugly. They have thin and long legs which make me want to vomit. Because I have a phobia about insects, I can not help but escape from them. I think mosquitoes the creepiest insects in the world. Finally, they bite people and leave the terrible marks which are red. These small marks affect me in many ways because they are very ichy. They get really worse if I scratch them, which drives me crazy. Those are the reasons why I hate mosquitoes.

I have a very close friend who is Japenese. His name is Ryo Tanaka. I met him in Calgary last year, and we had so much fun together. Because we were in the same class for more than three months, we often went out for dinner or drinks after class with other classmates. I sometimes went shopping with him because he was a good adviser. For example, when I wasted too much money on unnecessary accessories, he stopped me. He also chose some clothes for me when I couldn’t make a decision. He was also very funny and made a lot of jokes. He told me once that people from Osaka including himself like making funny jokes. However, I often misunderstoond him and took it seriously because we had to speak only in English. We still keep in touch. We call and email each other. Recently he is interested in Korea. He wants to be a Japanese teacher in Korea, so he is studying Korean culture and history. He is a good friend of mine, and I am proud of him.

Yesterday was dead line to apply assistant for Summer Junior English Camp in Catholic University. I tendered my application to Lifelong Education Center inGison Hall.I hope I am admitted to the assistant. I will take an interview for the part. Because the camp participators  has to almost use English while the camp period, candidator’s usual English conversation skill is important. I cannot speak English well, but I could improve my English conversation skill through this camp. I’m sure it is very good chance. I expect that I will take the interview well and work as the assistant in this summer vacation. I also wish I would meet the camp, if you offer the application for the part,too.

 Among many skin diseases, atopy is the most difficult pain to endure. What serious complexion is children are easy to get atopy. Because  children week to immunity. They are feeling so painful. Even they can’t sleep well suffering pain of atopy. For instance, one of my intimate relation has atopy since she was 3years old, seeking to solve her problem, visiting a lot of hospital, taking lots of medical treatment, but it is beyond medical treatment. She is now a middle school student, she is  more sensitive to her atopy. So she has been  particular about food, and rubbed the ointment into the skin. Because there is not enough to treat atopy directly. So many people hope to find medical treatment as soon as possible.

 Lately, I’ve suffered from sleepiness. Whenever I have time to spare, I fell into a doze especially after taking a meal. I didn’t have choice, but to sleep. I regarded spring sleepiness, but it was 2months passed since March, because it is the most powerful sleepy month during a year. So I have to make management of sleepiness. First, do not eat too much. Besides cut down my intake of carbohydrates. For digesting food, a digestive organ need to more blood, and work powerfully, so other organs tend to relax, in particular our brain will work so slowly. So body feel more languid. And,  carbohydrates food makes body relaxed. Second, make a plan each time. when I have tension, I feel less sleepy. So, I have make something to do vividly. Finally, the most important way is good sleep without nerve in good time and in good conditions. According to above way, I’ll practice from now on.

A mouse is a disgusting animal. They live in dirty place. For example, there are gutter, ceiling of a house, floor, and rathole of fields. Their shape is very repulsive. That’s why I dislike mice. One day, I was going up a hill, a mouse lay dead. I was surprised by that, it was cruel and creepy. And mice spread diseases. Becase they live in bad surroundings. So, if they bite us, we can be infected with disease.

The Seoul public transportation system is convenient and systematic. Also the making connections between the bus and the subway is working well. The new traffic order system was initiated 2 years ago. It is establishment created a substantial traffic network for Seoul. The central bus-only lane made a more effective system because now the bus service is fast and punctual. Also it has cost the public a little additional money to change the system. Now most people can reduce their travel expenses. In the future, there needs to be an increase in the number of central bus-only lanes. Seoul has many subway lines that reach many destinations. Transferring anywhere is fast. However, changing the bus number, and some reckless driving causes passenger to feel uneasy. Aslo the rush hours are crowded. So it is hard to take the bus and the subway. But the traffic system policy has been changed, and the new traffic system of Seoul has potential as a system reformed. It is easy to use.

I have handsome and gentle boyfriend. Are you surprised?  I think you do because I already married, get husband, and also have two sons.  However how can I get a boyfriend?  He can’t talk well, and he just smiles looking at me.  But I think he looks like talking something to me, and I always feel happy.  However my first nephew is far from here, so I can’t meet often.  My nephew lives in USA because his father’s job.  Thus the last time I saw him was last year, actually two years ago.  I miss him very much right now. So if I get back my health, I’d go to there and meet him.

Many rich people usually wear diamonds, because they want to show up what they have. Furthermore, they like animals such as dogs, cats, and cows because they are kind and loyal. They even like wild animals like  lions, tigers, and snkes because they are danerous. The reason why rich people like them is they want feel excited by them. Foxes, bears, and snakes are even dangerous because there is more chance that they may attack people. Those things can’t make the rich scared. However, one thing they are terrifired is virus.  Virus like HIV, avain flu, or SARS is very powerful to kill hundreds people easily,so even the rich because they are people feel petrified viruses.

     Have you ever heard of Atopy? It is a kind of hereditary dermatitis that makes your skin itchying. It hasn’t been know very much, but it is becoming a matter of concern these days. The first reason is because Atopy is not a fatal disease such as cancer, SARS, or AIDS, there has been not enough medication developed. Second, the patients of Atopy has difficulty in socializing, because its symtom appears on the their skin externally. Third, because it is a hereditary dermatitis, it is not enough to cure just one person. Instead, we need a medication that would cure the disease fundamentally.

The past time, a Banquet on One´s 60th Birthday was very meaningful day, but nowadays it is not so special day compared with the past. My grandfather is 60 years at this year, but he didn’t want to have a banquet on his 60th birthday, too. It is unstained result, because people’s average age is longer more and more. The reason people took a Banquet on One´s 60th Birthday in the past time was people was dead until become 60-year-old, so they celebrated someome’s 60th birthday. While a Banquet on One´s 60th Brthday is not taken usually, a Banquet on One’s 70th Birthday and 80th. These parties are have the same meaning with 60th party, but they are more fabulous. At these days, almost relatives come toghther to the party place. They bring some presents, and they make a low bow politely to grandmother and grandfather who are the party’s heros. Theae are very loving and pleasant day. I want that People become more health, 70th party could common birthday like theses day’s 60th banquet by good meaning.

Today I went to dermatology that famous for pimpme treatment with my cousin. She entered unversity this year. She has beautiful face and slender figure, but she has a big worry about appearance. It is acne. Unfortunately the acnes offend pretty freshman’s mind, so I took her the hospital. The hospital’s service was very good. Doctor and nurses were kind. There was a important problem, however. It was cure cost. We have known that pimple cure relatively expensive than other diseases because medical insurance is not applied to acnes. At ordinary times, I don’t  understand  why the pimple is not classified in medical area. I think it is not beaty area simply because acne hurt someone’s mind who has that, and it makes his face seemed to not good, also it is too many people’s disease and worry. Nevertheless, Gorverment don’t assign the acne to medical insuarance’s area. Anyway, we couldn’t be unsurprised though we know pimple’s cost system. It was too expensive that a student be equal to the cost. My cousin told me ” I don’t believe this receipt’s cost.” Several famous pimple special hospitals recieve not-fair cost under the penalty of fame.I tkink this way have to  break down.
