Elementary Composition – Night

Human relationship is one of the most stressful things in social life. Usually, the problem is caused by short of communication or misunderstanding. How can we do treat this problem? The answer is frank conversation. Frankness is difficult because everyone has own secret that nerver want to speak out in public. For harmonious relations, you don’t have to tell about all of your secrecy, but you have to try to make true conversation and never deceive both yourself and the other person who listen to your speaking.  If you don’t agree companion’s opinion or don’t understand it, you speak whatever you want to know. Don’t be reticent. It’s only make other person think you as a narrow minded person. Therefore, spill the beans for open communication.

Korean movie are very developed until now. The movie which is over the 10millionaudience are Silmido, Brother of war and King and the clown. King and the clown is type of historical drama. That movie now showing and continue to run. Other movies made about the Korean war.

Today, the cinema world has a problem with quota system of screen. Government want to abolish the quota system.They said that Korean movies are very successful in numbers for obove the quota. However cinema world oppsed by insistence of governmence.

Most in korea study English and try to master it. I think that mastering English can be a great job because it is an essential language. It is also helpful to understand the people custom from other countries. We have to know English to get new information from around the world. English seems to be required everywhere in modern society. So Korean society demand that we should be proficient in English.

I have been studying English for many years, but English is really hard for me. Above all, I had absolutely been studying English in order to pass the Exam for example TOEIC, transfer University, The public Office exam and so on. In my case, I  have to study English for passing the exam even though I know English conversation is more important. so, I feel frustrated when I used in real English. I wish I could speak English fluently after passing the my exam.

It is often said that “most of every people who have icy face are likely acting as their face,probly.” I don’t think it is right. It is not enough to say like that because it has no prove. As you know, there are some kind of reasons to make one’s attitude.

 Someone’s way of acting is made by whose circumstance around their lives or personality. Maybe childhood might affect on that. Actually,as far as I know, people who have icy face are usually very kind than kind-face people so that  kinds of  people seem very warm. I am not sure whether or not icy-face people are kind than warm-face people. But I strongly believe that it is not proper to judge someone by whose apperance. I know that people especially grown-ups and males tend to judge someone by that,but it is not fair! I have been judged by people many times. I’ve heard that my face seems like very icy when I meet someone at first. I don’t agree that but I have to. However, as time goes by, people have become aware of fact that I am not cold than their thougt. Nevertheless I thank them because that experience make me not to have preconception. I felt those are not good behavior and might hurt someone’s feelig who is sensitive.

 I have read a book,called ‘The little prince’. It is a masterpiece, isn’t it? I read very impressive sentence.” The thing that is important is the thing that is not seen.” I read that sometimes even I did many times and we should take this lessons in our mind. So, do not judge someone whose appearnce!

Today I went to the university, because I had to prepare presentation in english-reading class the next day. I have never gone university on sunday. So I felt strange a liitle bit. On my way to university, I received a SMS from my friend who is likely to be late about 30minutes. And I walked to my destination leisurely. Even though weather was so cool, I felt fresh and I could sing alone. Anyway, I arrived at my destinationㅡlibraryㅡand waited my party, as searching the internet. Surprisingly, though today was sunday, there were many students in library. Moreover, I saw my classmate. My heart was overflowing with expectation. Just, I like that view. Before long, I met my parties, and we started to prepare our presentation. By the time early evening, we could finished our preparation. On my way to home, I had dinner with my parties. Today is tired sunday, but I had a nice day~

About six, I did homework. It’s terrible!! Of course the homework is simple. The homework just need reading determined book and summary. But the problem is book! The book is very very difficult. I read the book. But I feel just reading words. I can’t understand. So I read again and again. I look like stupid. Finally I did it. But it’s not perfet. I hate it. The name of book is Orientalism. And writer is Adward side.(I can’t confident spelling of name) I am really odious the book and the class!!

A few weeks ago, I started reading a book. And now I finish the book. The name of book is Hongrumong. Do you know that? That is Chinese novel. I usually interested in Chinese things. Movies, drama, books and so on. So I choise the book. During reading the book, I felt it was pretty fun. But now I’m sad. Because I am feeling some futility. The topic of book is the frailty of human life. I’ve read the three books during twice weeks. And after reading novel, I remain nothing. It’s very very sad.

I went to the M.T this weekend. It holt my united Seoul Korea University studendt club. It was very fun and I made lots of friend.

But I am very tired today because we made a night of it! I think all most M.T is doing like our M.T. Maybe it’s good to get acquainted with people easily but next day you feel you are very tired and can’t do anything. I regret going there a little. Why? Because I had lots of homework. When I arrived home ,I took a shower and I just had slept 6 hours. Now I have to do my homework all night! It was very tired today.

Many women want to be a popular among the men. There are many ways to attract men’s attention. For example some women dressed well and show pretty appearance. And some women just nice to many man to hit on him.But what is the best way for female to attract male’s attention? According to the internet poll, the answer is just pretending not to interested in man. In korea acting like they are not interested in male is most effective.  In western countries, i guess that many woman are aggrassive to associating with man. And males are more active. But i think korea culture is different.   

Is United states a religious country? Many people are saying that way. America was constructed by the puritan and founded on the protestant ideology. We can also see it on the 1dollor bill.  A phrase “In god we trust” inscribed into the 1 dollor bill. Christianity ideolgy prevails in America society. But i’m not sure whether the America is strong religious country. obiviously many arab countries are strong religiouse country because most of them are tend to sacrifice themselves for religion. And they have no concept of individual freedom. If we can say that America is strong religious country, several requirement should be qualified. There is some occasion that we should choose betwween individual freedom and christianity value. For example, abortion and gay right issue are like that. As well as Americans give first priority to individual freedom, most of them have christianity value. They have to choose only one and they cannot get both of them.  I think that’s the one of reason why America cannot become strong religious country.    

I met friends who hang out with in university for celebarating one friend’s birthday. All of them not me alreadly graduated. Some went to graduate schools and others got jobs and work.  After graduation  it’s not easy to meet all together. But yesterday we met all together and talk about many things, their new jobs, my school life and our professors and so on. Of course we happily celebrated her birthday. It was really a sweet pleasure to meet my friends again such a long time.

Yesterday was April Fools´ Day. Did you lie yesterday? I didn’t lie , but I was taken in the lie of my friends. T.T  Anyway, there is memories to me about April Fools’ Day. When I was high shcool student, our school students tricked teachers in April Fools’ Day. all the students changed classroom with other class, or missed a class. Teachers always used to very upset. Looking back upon, that was very funed. And I miss that time. How about you?

When I was a elementary school student, I want to be a painter. But I realized soon that I don’t like to draw a lot, so I gave up my first dream. When I was high school student, my dream was history teacher. because I like it and interested in many historical events, But I realized soon studying history is not always interesting and my grade was not good enough to go to the college of education, so I gave up my second dream. I thought if I’m good at English, I will make a living anyway. That’s why I chose this university.

 But I have no specific dream yet. Many people change their dream over period of time. Some may achieve their prime dream, others may compromise their dream with present life and the others may still be confused about their future as I do. I wonder what I will be doing 10 years later. Probably I have to think about what I truly want to do, sooner or later.  

Couple of days ago, I watched a movie named Billy Elliot in Intermediate English Conversation Class. It was story of young boy who bacame famous ballet dancer after suffering many difficult situations. Its background was twenty century UK. At that time there was big strike of miners in UK. Billy’s father and old brother were miner, so they were on strike too. Billy’s father didn’t accept Billy to take ballet lessons at fitst, because he think it is feminine and girlish. But finally he changed his mind and made every effort to support his son.

 It was very sad and touching movie. I don’t know what is exactly movie’s secret mesage but I was impressed a lot. Mr. Jim, my professor, sad there were two communities in the movie. One is a family and the other is a labor union of miners. Our community is very important and necessary to live our life, but sometimes we couldn’t help leaving our community, he said. Billy’s father gave up striking and went back to work for his son’s tuition. He was in agony because it is kind of  betrayal to his cowerkers and even to himself. (I think when he cried, it’s most sorrowful scene.) Billy also left his family to go royal ballet school in London for his dream.

 Sometime I may have to stand against my community for more valuable thing. I hope I would do the right thing and make a good conclusion when I have that time. and I hope to have a good sense to find movie’s other good messages like Jim.

It`s 3:30 A.M. I am staying up now. Whenever I don`t sleep until late, I become hungry and would like to eat something. As you know, if anyone eats something at night, it will be the big damage to our body and is possible to gain some weight.  So, I must tolerate it. When we eat something which has high carlories, we may feel  better at the moment, but It will be deleterious later. Enduring eating something at night is really one of the biggest tests of our life.

Nowadays, I’m worry about my skin. By the time I was a highscool student, I was pride of my clean skin. But, I’m crazy as my skin trouble now. An allergy is harder than before. I think I have a freckles. So, I try to improve my skin I will eat a meal and sleep well, exercise regularly. And, I’ll take a ‘Mat-ssa-ji’ by a sea weed in every days. I’m most anxious to improve my skin.

When people in Korea loved hot tate of a red pepper that is major element of hot foods? In fact, a red pepper isn’t the origin in Korea. A red pepper is a plant that was imported from Japanese at Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. As korean wasn’t enough foods, the most of foods was salted cabbages. Unintentionally, they put in a red pepper. And they began to put it in foods. So, hot foods is famous for Korean traditional food style in the world.

Today , it goes on raining. It means that spring is coming. Above all, if spring comes, I would like to travel anywhere, but I am sure that I am busy with my schoolwork. However, if I have a spare time, it is certain that I am going to anywhere, which is beautiful and warm place, with my close friends or family. So, I am pleased with this rainy day because it  says spring is coming. I would love to tell all my classmates that even though you are weary, tired with  a lot of matters,  I hope that you spend all the time in enjoying  spring days which are warmer than before. I wish I would pass global explorer program, but it is difficult to find out freshman or sophomore, because in this year our school doesn’t accept our application without  freshman or sophomore. So, we have to find them to go global explorer program. As I don’t know well my juniors how I can do it? I posted on cafe of our major, and I am waiting my cell phon for 3 days. However, nobody call me.

  How many people who are freshman or sophomore are there in this class? If you are them, how about preparing global explorer program with me?

In this afternoon, I had lunch in cafeteria, and I went library with my friend. Because I have some books that have to be returned. As soon as I put borrowed books on the desk in order to return, the worker checked the books, and said to me like this. “Give me arrearage.” I wondered that reason, because I prolonged borrow-period surely at the day before yesterday. Therefore, primarily, I should have returned my borrowed books yesterday, but I could return my borrowed books up to 8 April. So I thought that reason is strange, but I couldn’t help paying arrearage charge and turning out. Before my last class, I had some spare time, so I investigated my prolonged-record through internet. They were existing there! I prolonged my borrow period exactly!! I still have one book that I have to return. In this situation, I perhaps have to pay arrearage charge about my borrowed book soon. I don’t know which thing is right. It’s not important that I have to pay the fine. I just wonder which is all right.

 I heard Korean famous singer Kim Jong-gook joined the military yesterday. But  the fact that he is joining as a civil service man puzzelde almost all people and me. Because he has shown his gorgeous muscle to us and he is well knowned for exercising in fitness clubs. And he has shown his physical strength in many variety shows, for example Dream Team.And His popularity was attributed to such his appearance. I am really disapointed.I’d liked him, his song and his personality. It is said that he’ll be a civil service man due to a waist disk.And his pysical examination for the army was conducted in 1996. Anyway in Korea things relating to military are very sensitve to all.

Last night, I got the information from our Department Assistant for evening courses, Ji-Na.

Beginning 3 April 2006, our Monday evening class will be held at N414 from 6:55pm to 8:45 pm.

Our Wednesday evening class will be held in the regular time and place, ie. in Dasol Building at 7:50pm.

Please remember that this change was made because of students’ preference, and is “secret”. I don’t think it’s a big problem, but you should keep it to yourself.

I hope to see you with happy, energetic smiles since we’re going to be meeting much earlier from now on!

 Korean university students have many part and M.T in March. This time is  term that making social relation ship and chance that leting know me to other person.

 However there are many people , so we don’t remember all of them. Specially, informing theirselves is important thing to freshman.

They can sing a song and tell something funy , but  If they dance, they will give strong impression. Dance can carving a seal to other person.

Therefor If you are fresh man,  how about dancing in party?

Most young women want to be thin. But if they have be on a immoderate diet, their health will have a bad influence. In physical health, they will getting sick frequently. Also they will have an attack of anemia, and the skin gets worse. Maybe you can’t have a baby. The most important thing; it causes mental problem. Instinctively, the human wants to eat, but if they control their appetite by force, they will be under a lot of stress, so they will lose their energy. Therefore they don’t have to be on a immoderate diet for your health.

 We can find fact that hansome or pretty person has considerate personality but ugly person always has bad personality in TV drama.

 Do you think character is connected with looking? Person who has polite personality can has good looking.

 Although young man has freckled and bad outward If he try think and friendly to other people, almost every his work will be smooth thing, and he become having nice apperance old man.

 But although he has beautiful looking If he has always grouchy expression, he will has wrinkled looking.

 Smile and good personality can make us beautiful person.

(What do you think about studying english courses in your school life?)

 In these days, some people say that there are some problems to study an english test called “TOEIC, TOEFL, GRE and so on”. when it comes to the toefl test, the toefl test is going to be change difficultly. The fact that toefl test may became a more difficult test occurred unfairness.

 To illustrate to my point, two month ago, there were some happening in which toefl test web site was paralyzed. I heard that there were so many people to register the toefl test, because a large number of people regarded toefl test as difficult test. Also, some people sold their rights called “Confirm number”.

 There was an another reason. some people thought that the toefl test had been refered to as the most important test which could study abroad and could live a better life in foreign country.

 In my case, I would like to register the toefl test in January. but I could not register the toefl test. As far as I am concerned, the toefl test may change to become better. I firmly believe that english courses help students to become better. The crucial factor to consider is why we study english courses. we don’t have to study in order to get a high grade. Definitely, we have a purpose which we have to be able to achieve.

In my conclusion, there are two important reasons why I think that there are some problems to study english tests called “TOEIC, TOEFL, GRE and so on” Since I entered a school in which I do all that I can study, I have been studying english courses. As time goes by, I am not enough to speak in english. As you can see, when I met Gord, I could not speak any communication with Gord. Sure! I have not efforted to study in English. but I can say that I have not regarded english courses as  worthless subjects in my courses. I am deciding to study english like ants. I firmly believe that I can do well. I don’t have to waver my determinedness in other’s gossips. I am not sure how much I want my position to grow, but I can do well.

Watching movie is probably the most popular hobby in the world, so movie as a genre of art has develoled and improved its own attractions. First, it has many kinds of movies. For example, there are action movie like Kill Bill and animation such as Lion King, fantagy like Herry Potter, black comedy and even musical like Phantom of the Opera and Moulin Rouge. Scond, it involves various topics. For instance, Brokeback mountain fleshes out homosexuality, Beautiful Mind tells about hard life of a genius, Chan-uk Park’s lately movies are about revenge of weak person in society, in additional, A.I. helps us to imagine the future being like robot or cyborg, Tomorrow warns about counterattact of nature, and Titanic makes people sweet with love. Third, movie attracts people by glamourous actors. Most movies need a star at least for hit, so big stars appear in movie continually. For this reason, we can see Brad Pitt’s glamour in theater almost every year, besides, Britney Spears who is big star in pop song appeared a movie although it had bad story it issued beacause of ‘Briteney’, and Dakota Fanning who already played several good movies and acknowledged by the people is comming this month with Dreamer.

The human beings have used the flower for food early. The flower was thought of the healthy food for a health maintenance by taking the medicinal effeact ingredient which is included to it with a meal. The flower food type is various and it makes a good appearance with beautiful color and unique smell. It is the common actual state to eat flowers of definite type in not only Korea but many other countries. It bring out in different aspect with in natural view of each country or tradition, climate, natural features and the time background. The spread is cultivated and becomes fixed from the culture inside of each and it is developed with one food culture.

The flower has abundance of nutritive elements and excellent about medicinal effects. Lavender excel in sedation and antiphlogistic effect and can help a good night’s sleep. Smell of Freesia take effect to get rid of sleeplessness. 

 Exercising is the most important element for life, in that it gives people good health, helps them to improve a sense of sociality, and makes them ged rid of some stress. First of all, one of the big adavantages to exercise is that people can enhance their health. Scientific reserch shows that  both mental and physical health will be better and rehabilitated, concentrating on exercising. To illustrate, working out has an enormous effect on obese people who want to lose some weight because it can get rid of some fat.

 Moreover, sports is the most significant element for adjusting to a modern society. Generally, getting  along with numerous friends and collegues around you is required to adapt to the society. In other words, if you participate in a sports team for friendship, it will be a good choice. It provides you with a sense of cooperation, leadership, or confidence which is needed for life.

 Lastly, if you work out regularly, you can relieve some stress which is stored in your mind and body. In general, most workers and students are exhausted due to their heavy workloads. Also, they lie on the intensively competitive society. It gives them  a lot of stress. In hence, if you focus on execrcising regularly, it will play a major role in reducing some stress.
