Elementary Composition – Day

I heard the Martin Luter King Jr. believed in freedom and equality for all people. He was African-American minister with strong religious beliefs, and he was an excellent public speaker. He was main leader of the civil rights movement in the United States during 1950s and 1960s. He inspired by transcendentalists such as Henry David Thoreau and Manhandas Gandhi, so he led nonviolent protests such as sit-ins and marches all over the country to end segregation and gain equality. He won Novel Peace Prize in 1964 for his use of nonviolence act of 1965. However, he was assassinated during a protest march in 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee.

I could know him through the book about him. The book saids he was considered one of the most famous and greatest president in American history. He was born in 1809 in a log cabin in Kentucky. He educated himself at home using library books, and he also trained himself to become a lawyer. He was elected sixteenth president of the United States in 1860 and also he was re-eledted in 1864. He led the United States during the Civil War, and he believed the most important goal of the Civil War was maintaining the Union. He opposed slavery. He said “A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure permanently half slave and half free.” and he issused Emancipation Proclamation in 1863, freeing many slaves. He was assasinated by John Wilkes Booth while attending a theater performance in 1865.

I’ll talk about a disease that is a problem, AIDS. What is AIDS? AIDS means acquired immune deficiency syndrome. AIDS is caused by the virus, HIV. By killing or damaging cells of the body’s immune system, HIV progressively destroys the body’s ability to fight infections and certain cancers. It’s definately dangerous because there aren’t any edicines and treatments for it at the moment and they can spread HIV over blood,sperm,etc. First, no treatments work for AIDS. It is impossible to cure it perfectly. AIDS patients just wait for their deaths. The pain has been getting worse in their lives and they die at the end. The United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS(UNAIDS) reported that 3million die every year because of AIDS. Second, AIDS is infected by blood and sexual contacts. Common path is to have sex with AIDS patients or share blood. A few years ago, a woman who was a AIDS patient had sex with a lot of men on purpose. The men were infected by AIDS, and their wives were infected too. That’s why AIDS is very fatal, dangerous.

I am a scientist. I study viruses. I want to know that viruses like HIV, SARS, spread quikly. Because they are very very dangerous infecious. So i want to do experiment viruses for using a wild animals. but my companies said that is impossible. they are very expensive animals and if we have a enough money, we will build a new laboratory

Today I spend time in Cheonggye Stream. Nowadays I was tired because several circumstances that pressing me. For example too much homewoks, not enough time(time always flow too fast especially when I need more), plan for summer vacation. I felt I need some break, so I went to Cheonggye Stream. Cheonggye Stream had decorated newly, and opened to public last year. After open, Cheonggye Stream has recieved much love from Korea nation. While the Cheonggye altering work had been progressing, there are worry and  discontents. The voice’s reasons were the work could damage enveronment and bereave people’s lives wlo lived around Cheonggye Stream, but the goverment went forward the work with give some alternatives about the voices. Now Cheonggye Stream transformed to public’s new rest place in the city, and It became Seoul’s one of the beatiful celerbrated place. I hope Cheonggye Stream will be the best place that gives corfort to me and public forever.

May 15th was teacher’s day, so, I tried to go to my highschool, and meet my teacher and friends. But, I couldn’t go because of my class. So, I went to my highchool today. Everything didn’t change. My teacher is still kind, advise me many things, and my school was filled with students who are wearing school uniform. They looked fresh and energetic. They make me think my school days. After I met my teacher, My friends and I thought time is really fast. I was wearing school uniform two years ago, now, I became a university student. Time is amazing. Anyway, I am really happy because I had a chance to think about my school days.

Fly have a lot of infectious. So Many people say fly is carrier of infectious. A primary factor of many kind of infectouses is carried by fly are food and human’s body such as nose, eyes. fly can carry a typhoid, a paratyphoid, a salmonella, a tubercle, a leprosy,a parasite

     Becoming aware that we should have posted 22 to 33 paragraphs so far, I counted all of my paragraphs. The mumber of my paragraohs was just about minimum, but it wasn’t what I care. I just realized that we have just couple weeks left in this semester! Can you believe that? Everything has just started to feel familiar, but actually it’s about done! I can not believe it. I don’t know what I’ve done so far. I have been busy with all assignments and exams. That’s all. I kind of feel frustrated.

Captial punishment is the only fitting punishment for murder. A central principle of a society is that every person has a right to “life”. That means nothing could be more important than this. Within that framework, murduring should be unexcusable under any circumstances. A murderer is hard to rehabilitate; he can easily repeat his crime.
     And goverment has a big responsibility that defend people from such danger. For this reason, the death penalty is essential to a just and moral society. Anyone who denies the right of life by unjustly taking. And, the standard of judgement has to be the punishment fits the crime.
 

Mice are very disgusting animal because they move germs, have horrible appearances, and even the carcass is terrible. First, they spread germs to people. Because they live men’s house out of sight, they pass some disease on to the person who lives in the house. For example, man caughts bacteria if he eats the food that mice left. Second, they have horrible appearances. For instance, there are  long long tail, gray and shot fur, and creepy eyes like seeds. I have been frightened to see a mouse’s a full body and too long tail accidently. Finally, even the carcass is terrible. Whatever mice or other animals, carcass is terrible. The mice’s carcasses, however, are manytimes put on ground, a bridge, and a basement that people’s general life places, so people shock to see them by chance. It is the reason mice’s carasses are more fearful. That’s why I think that mice are disgusting animals. How do you think about?

I listen to music for more than 5 hours a day. I habitually turn on my radio while I am doing my homework or using the computer in my room. I also listen to music when I am on the way to school and back.  Because I  have a lot of stress, I become depressed easily. However, when I listen to music, it helps me feel better. There are two ways of relaxing my mind with music. First, I listen to peaceful music like classic. For example, my favorite pianist, Yukiguramoto’s music helps me calm. I can think over whatever I am concerned and make things clear. I often make a schedule for the following week every Sunday listening to beautiful music. Second, when I get frustrated, rock music makes me forget the things for a moment so that I can breathe and smile. Fast music like rock helps me think more positively and make myself more confident. Music is my best friend, so I can not imagine living without it.

I really like to travel abroad. I have been to many contries over the world. I have seen a lot of historical places in other countries. Especially, I am interested in a relic of the past to unearth by Archaeologists. There are some special Wonders in the World such as 7 Ancient Wonders, Forgotten Wonders, Modern Wonders, Natural Wonders. However most people know that list exists of the 7 World Wonders, only few can name them. The list of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World was originally complied around the second century B.C. Like the ancient list, the new ones include fascinating monuments and structures that changed the existing landscape such as the Great Wall of China, Taj Mahal of Agra in India, the Temple of Angkor Wat in Cambodia, and the Inca City of Machu Picchu in Peru are a few example. Now some Archaeologists work in areas where ancient buildings have been preserved.

Do you think what the real beauty is? Whenever we turn on the T.V, we see beautiful women every day, and there are something in common. They have slim body. They always go on a diet to keep the slim body, and sometimes they lose weight eventhough they are very thin because other stars are more slimmer. I think they look like competing their weight to be slimmer. However sometimes they have some health problems because of the severe diet such as the kidney disease. It isn’t the only their problems, it is very severe social problems nowadays. The young often watch T.V, and they think the beauty is slim body, so they don’t eat, and go on a diet eventhough they 13 or 14 years old.  Though we have to think what the beauty is truly, and give a good model to the younger generation.

Mice are most creepy animal. Most people dislike mice because they are the sight made us crawly. The mice have bad effect. First, they can spread many disease. For example, especially the mice give a pest to people. Sometimes we can lose our life from the pest. Second, they look like creepy, and they really give disgust. For instance, they have deep black furs, and red eyes, and long tails. Third, they breed rapidly. For example, one mouse can breed 1,226 mice per year. Can you imagine? It’s very surprise!  Next, The mice’s voice are gooseflesh all over. For instance, when they squeak at night, we really feel hideous. Then they can destroy and contaminate all the food in our house. Moreover they rumnage dirty trash heap. So they are unclean and terrible. Finally, they look like creepy and live everywhere such as a gully hole and cesspool. So if we suddenly meet them, it could make us surprise. This is the reason why we dislike the mice.

Mice are really disgusting. First, mice have long tails. They look creepy. second, they bite people’s food. When they touch food, some disease could spread. Third, mice spread very quickly. Eventhough people make a rattrap to kill rat, they don’t eradicated. Finally, when they died, it’s disgusting themselves. Their tails could be cut by a rattrap. I couldn’t see that and touch that. So I dislike mice.

Flies is the one of the most disgusting insects man’s ever seen. First, flies are nuisance to people’s life. For example, they usually go round and round a person when they eat for meals, read a book, and pay attention to something. Second, they give a person with a disease. They infect a serious germ like asthma, tubercle, and a skin disease. Third, they look so disgusting. Especially, such a big fly like bottle-green fly feels people creepy, gross, and filthy. That’s why people hate flies.  

  People are scared of viruses because viruses like HIV, SARS, and mad cow disease spread easily. Especially mad cow disease may spread quickly because dogs, cats. and cows breed quickly. But when people go hiking, they will be scared of animals, especially rich people. One day I went hiking alone, and I watched people. At that time, I saw many rich men and women. Because people want to look nice, people usually wear diamonds as shiny jewerly. I think rich people want to look nice even when they go hiking.  Animals like foxes, lions, tigers, bears, and snakes may attack people because they like people’s shiny jewerly. I saw that one bear attacked to people because of that reason, and they started to escape. But it was also dangerous decision. Animals such as lions, tigers, snakes, and bears are dangerous if they escape because it makes animals want to follow them.  The bear started to follow them.

It is benefitial that you make a plan before you go vacation. It leads to two significant advantages. One of them is that this way of spending free time can prevent people from being in ebarassing situations. In particular, people need not waste time, and they may even benefit from careful planning. For example when people make an early reservation for their tickets to some famous performances, they can not only acquires the speacial discount. The other benefit is that poeple can increase their level of sastisfaction by making plans carefully. To specify this, when people make plans in advance, they can collect a large amount of information concerning what they will do. This information cannot be obtained without meticulous planning. in this regard, making plans enables people to enjoy an efficient and amusing life. 

 

 I work at Biology company in South Africa. I experiment  about how fast dogs,cats,and cows breed quickly everyday. Sometimes, I find kinds of viruses such as fatal disease. As you know,viruses like HIV,SARS,and Cholera spread quickly. It happened terrible accidents in here yesterday. Some of the animals escaped from their cage. Especially, Animals such as lions,tigers,snakes, and bears are dangerous if they escape, and animals like lionstigers,bears, and snake may attack people. What is worse, some jewerly was stolen by terrorists after that. Because people usually wear diamond as shiny jewerly, they’ve always watched for that people. It was unbelievable happening yesterday. Anybody help us! 

I’m looking for my summer vacation part- time job. Because I am plannng to trip to New York in this winter vacation. The reasons I decided New York to my  destination are I want to experience the culture of English-speaking peoples and meet my grandmother who had lived in it. I formed the stand for select job. First, the job is  related my major or my carrer. If I take English teacher assisstance, it would help to improve my English ability and to write my career on application paper for get my own occupation.  Second, it havn’t to hold too much time in a day. For example, it must finish until evening, or it have to start after morning. I hope I can use rest of the working time studing my major, doing many various experiences, and enjoying my youth. Finally, it have to guarantee optimum pay that proper my labor’s quality and quantity. I don’t want not-suited pay, too high and too low. Although I don’t know weather I could find the job that include opper stands or not, I wish I spend valuable summer vacation with good job.

AIDS is very dangerous disease because people will die surely, if they have its virus. Because it is moved in blood and spit , People who have virus never kiss and blood donation. Because there are many its germ carrier, we have to care about meeting boy friendand girl friend. Woman who have a its virus never have a baby because its virus move their baby. But it don’t move sake hands, food, and tableware. Therefore we can live together. Its symptoms is having fever, chill, cold, losing weight, a skin disease, and  malignant tumor. Nothing is to cure.

I went Africa last Summer. I had heard the warning over 100 times like that you should be careful wherever you go because animals like foxes, lions, tigers, bears and snakes may attack people. However, I wasn’t afriad of them. I thought they were my friends. It was my very very big mistake. In seoul I lived, we didn’t have to care about wearing jewerly because people usually wear diamonds as shiny jewerly. In Africa, however,people should be careful for doing that. Animals were stimulized by shiny things, so we shouldn’t have worn jewerly. Emergency already happened. Wild animals walked slowly towards me. What I did first was that standing up facing wild animals because animals such as lions, tigers, snakes, and bears are dangerous if they escape. I was very cautious, but I was bitten by a snake. Unfortunately, the snake had a unknown poison. It was a new virus. People had to stay away from me because viruses like HIV, SARS, and other facts spread easily. We didn’t know the virus exactly, so we should be careful not to be infected. Then, I lost consciousness. 3 Years later, according to science reports, a lot ot animals have been dying because of that virus named SAU. Especially mammals are dying quickly, so people are trying to make dogs, cats, and cows breed quicly. It is a severe crisis in the world. We are threatened by nature.

Helen was the deaf and blind ,but she could overcome such difficulties from her teacher Sullivan’s help. For example, Sullivan tried to teach alphbets to her by writing them in her hands. As a result, Helen could start to write and speak at 10 years old. It is also because of her smartness and diligence. For instance, she entered the Light Hamerson school for the deaf and dumb in New York in 1894 ,and went to the Radcliffe University in 1900. Helen graduated from the university with honors. Besides, she devoted her life to the social service for the disabled people. For example, she spent money for the poor and had a fund-raising campaign to help the deaf-and-dumb.

Mozart showed his talent when he was a child. For example, he started to compose at 5 years old, and wrote the first symphony at 8 years old. He liked travel very much so he got a lot of inspiration and stimuli from Western Europe trip. For instance, he made a trip about 200 cities in a year, and he was an admirer of a travel. According to reports about Mozart, he said that man was worthless thing without traveling. Mozart was a genius of music but not of gambling. For example, he ran through his fortune for pool and playing cards.  

The 100th birthday party has a special meaning in Korea. In the past, many babies died soon after they were born. It was because that many people had insufficient medical knowledge about sanitation ,and a sharp change in the weather made babies got new diseases. Therefore, people used to celebrate the 100th birthday especially meaning that babies overcame difficult situations. In the day, families invite guests like relatives and neighborhoods and give a lot of food. Invited guests give babies presents like thread hoping babies will be healthy and have a longlife. 

When I was young, my father had been in Africa. So, I have been to there with mother several times. In there, I saw many tribal people. At first, I felt strange because they wore on splendid and strange earrings, necklaces and so on. And, when I slept in Africa, I saw many cockroaches and mice. Cockroaches and mice are one of animals that breed quickly. One day, I was so sick, and misunderstood that it’s a pest. Because, diseases like pest and cold spread easily, and an epidemic was raging. But, it was a simple cold. Also, there was national park nearby. Animals such as lions, tigers, snakes, and bears are very dangerous if they escape. And wild dogs, bees, and buffalo often attack people, too. Anyway, this is a good experience and memory.

I am watching the American show, Gilmore Girls, lately. It is a story about a girl named  Lorelei and her mom. Lorelei is a sitxteen-year-old girl who is very smart. She is also very kind and fun. When I watch the show, I really envy her because her mom is one of Lorelei’s best freinds. I thought I was quite close to my mom before I saw this show, but  Lorelei and her mom were different. They talk everything. There is another reason I like it.  There is a Korean girl who is Lorelei’s best friend , so I can hear some Korean languages while I am watching it ,which is very interesting.  It also contains many useful expressions  that I could learn. Therefore, if you are looking for an American show to learn Enlgish, I highly recommend you to watch it. These are the reasons why I enjoy wacthing the show. 

I really like eating out on weekends. My family went to the place where we frequent regularly yesterday. We love the restaurant because the ribs of beef are excellent and definately worth eating, the atmosphere is also great, and they play nice music. It is truly worth visiting. We had a good time!

 

Yesterday, I met old friends, so I was very glad. They are all my schoolmates from same high school in JinJu. It was comfortable time though we haven’t met for a long time because we have known for 2 years each other. In Myung-Dong, there are many people, so we couldn’t step forward well. We did shopping, ate delicious foods, and had a nice time. We said good-bye making a promise. We’re going to meet again this summer vacation.

Today I went to Yeouido to have a dinner and a break time in Han Gang with my friend. I ate delicious dish in Mexican food restaurant. In spite of  Sunday, there are a little customers. The reason may is that Yeouido is Building wood. (In Sunday, officers usually do not go to their office.) I won the restaureant lottery to offer some dish. My friend I were very surprised. We were pleasant becase of the unexoected fortune. After the dinner, we went to Han Gang. At the place, we spent comforable and carefree times. We watched some persons doing in-line skating, or we talked about old wive’s fables.  At the time the sunset comed down, we left that place to go back our homes. The Unfortune appeared on going home. When I was riding escalator, My left lense falled off suddenly. My friend and I serched it, but we could not see it anywhere. I dissapointed very much because it was not long since I had bought it. Today is a fortune day or an unfortune day?
